A: Yes, you need an unlocked mobile phone to use the Travel SIM. Locked phones will not work with SIM cards from other networks. In most cases, mobile phones now come unlocked by default from mobile networks. Please check with your Mobile network if your device is unlocked.
A: This SIM card is designed for phones and tablets. While it works in most tablets, T-Mobile advises it's primarily a phone SIM. Use in tablets is at your own risk.

- Enable Data Roaming 🤳 This step is only required if you are landing in Canada or Mexico first. Go to your phone settings and switch 'Data Roaming' to 'ON.'
- Wait for Activation ⌛ You should receive a welcome text from T-Mobile confirming successful activation 🎉

A: You can use the mobile hotspot feature to share your data with multiple devices. Simply enable the hotspot feature in your phone's settings.
Answer:If you use all your 5GB of 4G data in Canada or Mexico, your speed will be reduced to 2G speeds (256 Kbps). This is still sufficient for basic tasks like emails and social media messaging. T-mobile do not allow you to top up more 4G data in Canada & Mexico.
Answer: You can purchase an additional international talk and text feature from T-Mobile for $15 USD. Alternatively, use data to make calls and texts via apps like WhatsApp, Skype, etc.

In contrast, the eSIM requires you to provide your IMEI number and have a strong Wi-Fi connection at the airport for auto activation.
- Convenience: The physical SIM does not require a Wi-Fi connection for activation, making it more convenient for immediate use upon arrival.

The sim worked faultless from the time we landed, and with no issues in any of the 7 countries we visited. Just need to keep an eye on your isp provider inbox as it was not forwarded by my isp to my account.

AUDisappointing
Communication is good, but I havent received my sim yet , it makes me anxious that I have to wait a week before travel day. Travel day is one week today and I haven't received my sim. I feel a better way to do this is to send the QR code when its ordered and the traveler activate it on arrival at their destination.
