When you decide on the eSIM plan you want. Complete your purchase. Once purchased, you'll receive 2 emails, an order confirmation email and a seperate email containing a QR code with simple activation instructions.
3. Scan & Activate
When you land in any Airport in New Zealand, connect to the free Airport Wi-Fi. Once connected, scan the QR code in your eSIM email, turn on data roaming and start using your eSIM right away!

A: A eSIM is a digital prepaid SIM card designed for use while traveling overseas. If you have an eSIM compatible device. It allows you to access mobile data, make calls, and send texts without incurring high roaming charges from your home network. A: Yes, you need an unlocked mobile phone to use this eSIM. Locked phones will not work with eSIMs from other networks. In most cases, mobile phones now come unlocked by default from mobile networks. Please check with your Mobile network if your device is unlocked.

- 🛜 Land & Connect To Wi-Fi You'll need a strong Wi-Fi connection before you scan your QR code. Ensure you connect to free Airport Wi-Fi.
- 🤳 Scan & Connect Once connected to Wi-Fi, Scan the QR code in your email. Then, go to your phone settings and switch 'Data Roaming' to 'ON.'
- 🎉 Complete Activation: Your eSIM should be active within 1-3 minutes. Restart your device again if service is not connected within 5 minutes.

Answer: No, the SIM can only be activated once you have landed in New Zealand. Please do not try and activate the SIM card or insert the SIM card into your device if you are not in New Zealand. Activation issues may occur.
